Tim's birthday

Tuesday 6th
We greeted Tim in the morning with cards and some chocolate covered coffee beans from the coffee works. Packed up and the kids said goodbye to their friends that they got on very well with and hoped that we would bump into them somewhere else down the track.

They lined themselves up in order of age. The family reminded the kids of our cousins and they got on really well spending all their time playing with them when they were all at the camp grounds. They had 3 boys and 1 girl.
We took the road from Atherton through to Innisfail and went and saw the Curtain Fig tree which was very impressive.

This is the Curtain Fig Tree which was huge and is a combination of a couple of trees that then attached themselves to each other.
That took us through some small towns and it was a great look around. We went into Innisfail to get a bought bakery lunch for Tims birthday and everyone happily ate it instead of our regular sandwiches! We then bought some pepper steak for tea for Tim and went and set up camp just out of Innisfail at a free spot. It was very nice.
Our spot with palms and banana plants behind.

Tim relaxing with hot coffee in one hand, choc coated coffee beans on his lap and cappuccino choc on the chair. A potent mix but one that he was very happy to receive.
