Wednesday 8th
Praise God everyone woke up well and ready to head off. First we went to the Gravity Discovery Centre which is west of Gingin, only about 20km from where we were staying. We spent 3 1/2 hours there. It was very interesting.
First was these convex and concave mirrors and the kids laughed, and laughed, and laughed
and laughed, and did I say laughed! In this one Zane is saying " they make our heads flat"
Manning is trying to put a foam ball on top of this chute that is blowing out air and keeps the ball up. You can't see it very well but Tim is making a long spring move and it shows the affect of waves , as they came back.
This one you can see the ball up.
The only thing missing from this picture is white lab coats. They loved looking at all the plant and animal specimens under the microscopes.
So from there we headed back down a little way to Yanchep National Park as it had been highly recommended to me, and I was very happy we did. We took the last tour of Crystal Cave and it was excellent as we had a great tour guide and we had her all to ourselves so the kids felt very safe to ask as many questions as they wanted to. It helped that she was very good at talking to the kids in a language that they could understand and that increased their excitement of what they were experiencing.
It was a bit dark so our phones weren't picking things up very well.
It was really amazing being so far under ground and not aware that up top we were getting a lot of wind and rain. Your in another world.
