Berry Springs

Saturday 29th
Well it was time for an easier day so we did some school work in the morning (though the kids didn't think this was easier), outside in the beautiful weather. Then after lunch we headed to Berry Springs which was only 10min down the road. It was a very beautiful rain forest with a warm waterfall flowing into 2 big pools. Very nice swimming around. Our neighbours from the caravan park were there so we got to have a chat to them. 
We then headed back to the caravan in time for crocodile feeding!

This is the big guy just relaxing. Amazing how they keep their mouths open like this. We think this guy may be a little fat.

You can see Manning with his speedo bathers on but no tshirt. So everyone gathers around the croc enclosure and the manager comes along with a bag full of chicken wings and passes them out to the kids and tells them to throw them at the crocs and hit them on the nose so the crocs know it's food time. The kids loved it but it was hard to get it right so the crocs could get the chicken.

This guy has his head up as he has just grabbed some food and was trying to swallow it whole.
Then on Saturday night at 7:30pm it's outside movie night. So we got the picnic rugs out and watched Night In The Museum under the stars on the big screen.
