Tumbling Waters

Saturday 6th
The day started with some school work! "On a Saturday!" they all cried. "And what did we do on Friday?" Mum replied. There was silence as they remembered back to the slides, the swimming, the running, the ice cream............... Slowly they got their folders out.
I then tried to find a washing machine free to do some washing.
This the view of our site from the front. We walk past tropical palms to get to our caravan. Lovely.
The kids found this group of green abdomen ants pulling this large dead spider up this tree out the back of our caravan. The kids watched for ages as it was amazing how the ants coordinated this and how they had time out when someone came to take their place and how they pulled in the right direction, not against each other, is amazing. There is a lesson in that!

In the afternoon we swam in the pool. 5pm was croc feeding time. As you can see the croc had a heap of chicken wings there that the kids had thrown in but he would just snap his jaw and hope he got one. Didn't use much energy.
Ethan and Baylee watching from the walk way.
There are Herron birds that live in the trees above the crocs and they try to get the chicken wings before the crocs and without being eaten themselves by the crocs. They are funny looking birds.  7:30pm was out door movie time then bed. The sky in the west was lit up like a bright sun set but it stayed there and I said to Tim while we were watching the movie that it looked like a bush fire. We later found out that it was and it was started by fireworks they think. The days fly when you're having fun. Absolutely true!
