Palmerston Water Park

Friday 28th
So we packed again for another full day out at the next free water park. Next to the centre of Palmerston is this water park with a huge race track slide.
At both these parks they measure the little kids to see if they are tall enough to go on the slides.At  both parks Mannning missed out but he did a fantastic job not getting upset and happily playing on the rest of the playground. 

The water playground wasn't as big as Leanyer but still had plenty to do.

It's hard to see who's on the slide but I think they are all on there, coming into the finish line.
During the day a family that we had got to know turned up and we were very surprised as the kids told me that they thought they were heading back home to Esperence from Kununurra. We first saw them at Windjana Gorge on the Gibb. So Kimberly was very happy as they had 3 girls and spent a lot of time on the slide with her.  By the end of the day they were getting a technique happening and were looking forward to when Dad was coming back to race them. It was fun watching as there was this one Dad that would give his kids a head start but get so much speed from getting airborne over the bumps then really push down the hills that he would rocket pass them just before the finish line. Very impressive.
Another full, fun day had by all.
